About Jaye
The chair is part of my story. It was never meant to be the whole story.
For more than a decade, barbering has given me an opportunity to build something of my own. It taught me discipline, creativity, entrepreneurship, and the value of connecting with people from every walk of life.
But I’ve never wanted to be boxed in.
Not by a title. Not by an industry. Not by what I’ve done before. And definitely not by what other people believe I’m supposed to become.
Jaye is a barber, but Jaye is also a creator, entrepreneur, father, husband, and someone who is still evolving. I believe growth requires giving yourself permission to become something you haven’t been before.
StudioONE31 represents that evolution.
It’s my approach to barbering without the limitations of what a barbershop is supposed to be. It’s personal. Intentional. Professional. Creative. A space where the experience matters just as much as the finished product.
And I bring that same philosophy to every person who sits in my chair. I don’t want to put you in a box either.
Your haircut shouldn’t be determined by what’s popular, what everybody else is wearing, or what someone thinks you’re supposed to look like. My job is to listen, understand the vision, apply my expertise, and help bring your version of yourself to life.
That’s what StudioONE31 is about. No boxes. No predetermined version of who you’re supposed to be. Just intention, evolution, and the freedom to become.
